But the creature wasn't attacking Tim, as David thought it would. Instead, it just sat in Tim's arms. "What's it doing?" David asked. "I think it's ... resting." It turned it's head and looked at Tim, then it did something that took both of them by surprise. It purred. Just like a cat. "It's a pet," Tim said, astonished. "Okay, but where did it come from?" They both looked at The Box, then back at each other. "You don't think this creature was the one you saw inside the object, do you?" David asked. "Maybe. But how did it get from the object to here?"
