And, just as David feared, it started to rip Tim apart. "Get this thing off me!" Tim yelled in horror, as the creature slashed his body with its claws. David didn't want to touch it, so he kicked it instead. It flew across the room and hit the wall with a dull smack. "Tim, are you okay?" David asked. "Oh, man. I'm bleeding," he said, touching his ripped blood-stained shirt. "Do you have an infirmary here?" "It's down the hall." "Come on, I'll take you," David said. He lifted Tim up and helped him out of the room, glancing once at the creature before he left. It was sitting lifeless on the floor. But that didn't mean it was dead.
