Charlie had no idea what that color meant. Charlie had forgotten one of the main rules when walking along city streets: keep moving with the crowd. If he would have remembered, then what happened next may not have happened. Someone bumped into him and they made skin-on-skin contact. But unlike the green and red skies, the violet sky caused Charlie's body to swap lifestyles (and that also included personalities, although Charlie wouldn't notice unless he vacated the body) with the person that touched him.
