He sat down on the couch next to her and said "Be nice." Suddenly, she turned to Jon and smiled. She actually smiled. For the first time in years, Zoe looked happy. He thought that maybe she would lose her gothic attire, but apparently she could still be a Goth and be nice at the same time. "Hi, Jon," she bubbled. "I was thinking of inviting Karyn over for dinner. What do you think of that?" Zoe usually hated it when Karyn came over for dinner, mainly because their mom wouldn't let one of her friends to do the same. "I think that's cool. I like Karyn." Jon smiled. This version of Zoe was much easier to interact with. | |
