But again, instead of being granted to him, his wish was granted to Sarah instead. Another link in the "wish chain". One moment, Sarah was walking her dog and everything was fine. But then suddenly, her poodle darted towards the street, snapping the leash, and ran into traffic. A moment later, a car hit the dog, killing her instantly. "Muffin!" Sarah yelled at her dog. The driver who hit her just drove off as if nothing had happened. Cradling her dead pet in her arms, Sarah said "I wish ..." Compensation | |
