The stone glowed, indicating that his stone was granted. But when Jon looked down at himself, he frowned. Nothing happened. Except, something did happen ... to everyone surrounding Jon, to an extent of fifty feet. There was really no harm done for his sister Zoe and his little brother Mikey. They were just ready to go a little earlier than normal. But his mom didn't go to school. Until now. Jon's mom (Jane) looked at herself in the mirror. It was tough being a single mother of three kids and having to go to work and school, but she was determined to make it. She wasn't giving up. She checked her watch. She had to get to work soon. And after that, she took classes in the evening. She sighed. With all of this time away from home, she wasn't spending as much time with her family as she wanted. | |
