Why can't I hear you?" Jennifer asked, beginning to panic. Zoe's eyes went wide. She could no longer hear Jon's (or rather Jennifer's) thoughts. Jane's wish, which was granted to Zoe, was to hear Jon's thoughts. But since Jon was now Jennifer (essentially another person), that wish no longer applied. "What sweet relief," Zoe mouthed. "Now, what should I do with my new sister?" Jennifer still couldn't understand what she was saying. | |
