Then he cautiously peeked around it, to catch a glimpse of the locals. But when they came into view, he saw that they weren't hideous creatures at all. In fact, they looked very human. It was a guy and a girl, both college-aged, by the look of them. And their clothes didn't look very futuristic. In fact, they dressed similarly to many college-aged kids that Charlie had seen around his own neighborhood. Feeling that he could risk being discovered, he stepped out from behind the tree and waved to them. "Don't be scared. I'm not dangerous. I just need to know how I got here. Can you help me?"
