Thanks to Jon's usual restless sleeping habits, neither bed sheet nor pillow were where they had been the night before. Neither was the stone, to be truthful. However its replacement had been placed in exactly the same spot the original stone was taken from and so had been tossed about along with Jon's bedclothes.
