I didn't know you were bringing the kids along." She turned and saw Karyn and nodded at her, smiling. Karyn realized what was happening before anyone else. Both Vicki and herself were now mothers with teenage daughters, which was very similar to Jon's former mother Jane, who had a teenage daughter of her own (Zoe). And the stone gave a justification of why they were in Jane's house: Vicki and Karyn were friends of Jane. And now they were going to do something with Jane, but they had no idea what. | |
