"Fuck," Karyn said, before a plume of black smoke was forced to spew from her mouth. The same thing happened to Zoe. "What ... what happened?" Karyn said. "Karyn, are you okay?" Jon asked. "I was ... in my bedroom. How did I get here?" "I think we were possessed," Zoe said. "Possessed?" Karyn asked. "Yes, possessed," a new voice said. This one belonged to Jon's mother. She darted into Jon's bedroom, knocking over both Karyn and Zoe, and grabbed the stone from a very startled Jon. "Pathetic fools," Jon's mother said. But it wasn't really his mom who was talking. "Leave my mom alone!" Jon yelled. | |
