"What about all the preps and jocks then? If nerds are popular, then what happened to them?" Sarah asked.

"I guess they're unpopular," Leonard answered. He suddenly overheard a conversation by two students passing nearby.

"I heard that jock Biff Meadows tried to get on the debate team. Jeeze, what a loser," one girl said.

"I heard one of the popular kids put him up to it. It isn't nice of them, picking on the uncool kids," her friends, disagreed. "Just because they are smart doesn't mean they should pick on people who are dumb...Of course, Biff thinking he's smart enough for debate...he's no Jay Duncan."
