"Okay," Jon said. Karyn smiled. "But you have to promise me that if you use it, you'll be careful." "Who do you think you're talking to?" "Oh, I don't know. Someone who wished they had bigger breasts and blond hair maybe?" "Jon," she said, getting a little upset. "That was an accident. And it'll never happen again. Believe me." "I know, I know. I'm just being overly cautious." There was a brief pause. "Can I have it now?" Karyn asked. "Well, I was thinking about just using it myself." "But you just said ..." "I said if you use it." "Come on, Jon," Karyn complained. "Can't we at least take turns?" Jon thought for a moment. "Okay. We'll trade it during lunch, that's about halfway through the school day." "Fine.
