Jon asked, wondering why she suddenly had a spaced-off look. "Jon ... why are you wearing all of that?" Linda was finally able to ask. Jon looked confused. "All of what? This?" he asked, pointing at his clothes. "Yes." "Because I can't wear jeans and a T-shirt to work? You know Larry won't let us dress down." "How do you know Larry?" Larry was one of her bosses. "I work for him, just like you. Mom, are you sure you're okay? Because you're acting really weird." I'm acting weird? she thought. What about you? "Now, come on," Jon said. "I can't wait to see the look on Robert's face when we actually get there early." "You know Robert too?" Now Jon was really getting concerned. His mom was apparently having memory problems. | |
