The stone flashed, and both suddenly averted their eyes. When they looked back, Karyn still looked the same, but Zoe didn't. Zoe was older ... and taller. She'd filled out a bit, and had a confident look on her face. "Karyn, I want that report done by tomorrow. I'm not giving you any more extensions." Karyn rolled her eyes and groaned, then said "Okay, Ms. Madison." Sarah and Melissa gaped. Sarah had the presence of mind to grab the stone back and put it away before they did any more damage. | |
