A few more seconds and there would have been just enough of a wish to be granted. "Jenny! Why did you do that?" Nina asked, not realizing what the ramifications of reading that note would be. "I ... I'm not sure," she answered, looking down at the torn up pieces of the note, lying on the floor. "I just felt like I had to. Sorry I freaked you out." Then a thought suddenly occurred to her.
