But she was nervous because she was an overweight girl with curly brown hair and glasses...and that meant not only was she not popular, she was a popular target. What people didn't know about her was how she longed to be accepted. She went to her locker and unlocked it. She found a sticky note inside that someone must have dropped in. She began to read it. "I wish," it said, "that I would start to take on the aspects of the person I know that I most want to be like." She frowned and crumpled it up and threw it away. What sort of a joke was that?
