Karyn looked oddly at her friend. "I'm talking about the stone." She held it up. "Stone?" Jan asked. Clearly, she had no clue what Karyn was talking about. Could it be that something had changed when Karyn sent her friend on a trip through time? Karyn had already forgotten that Jan was supposed to be a boy named Jon. Perhaps other things had drastically changed as well. But if Jan didn't know what the stone was, then how could Karyn have it? "I wish I knew why Jan doesn't remember the stone," Karyn said. The stone glowed, granting her wish. | |
