"I wish my last wish would be reversed," she said. Then she turned away, as the stone glowed. Jon stared at Karyn with wide eyes. "Karyn! What did you do?!" He snatched the stone away from her. "How could you take away my baby?!" "Jon, you're not supposed to be pregnant. The stone just made you that way." "I am supposed to be pregnant, Karyn. I wanted to be pregnant. For years, I've waited for this!" Karyn was confused. Why didn't Jon's memories return to normal? But then she remembered. The people who hear the wish keep their memories from the previous reality. Karyn's second wish only returned Jon's body to normal, not his mind. "Jon, give me the stone. I need to fix your memories." "No way! I'm not going to let you ruin my life even more." And before Karyn could stop him, he said "I wish ..." | |
