"Jon," she said, turning around to face him. He smiled, exposing his braces. For some reason, this made Karyn blush again. "Don't you remember that we were testing out the stone?" she asked, hoping that the stone still existed in this reality and that Jon still knew about it. "Of courth, Karyn," he said, still talking with a lisp. "Uh ... what did you ... uh ... with for?" Karyn wondered if she should tell him or not. Who knew how he would react?
