She suddenly stopped. "Wait a minute. You're acting really strange about this. Almost like this is all new to you. Did your wish have something to do with our friendship? Were we not friends before?" That wasn't it, but Karyn could see how Jen could come to that conclusion. She began to wonder if she should tell Jen the truth or just make something else up, because her friend was starting to become even more impatient for an answer. | |
