She was...fat. She'd become a large and overweight version of herself, who was sitting in a corner, mostly ignored, writing in a notebook, a thick pair of glasses on her face. He wondered why no one teased her, or did give her looks. It seemed odd. He knew big girls usually got teased, but everyone was giving her a wide berth. He got a bit of insight when someone did come too close to her and she gave them a look that caused them to withdraw. "What are you looking at?" Melissa asked him. "You know how she hates being bothered." "What?" "Zoe. She may be fat, but she knocked Biff Meadows on his ass the last time he tried to hassle her.
