As I stepped out of the chamber, I nearly knocked over a couple of candles burning nearby. And once I was completely out, I saw that there were a little more than just a couple of candles. There were candles everywhere.

"Hello?" I said, hearing my voice echo through the cave.

Wait a minute. Cave? I thought to myself. When I entered the cryo chamber, I was in a lab. It was deep underground, yes, but it was a room, in a building. This place was nothing but a cavern. What happened to the lab? Was it destroyed in some way? Or was the cryo chamber moved? And if so, why?

I called out again, but still got no answer. As I began to worry that maybe I truly was alone, I started to hear footsteps. And they were approaching.
