Suddenly, the cavemen became restless, making even more noise than they were before. And then, off in the distance, I saw something hovering in the air. From this far away, it looked like a small metal sphere. Its metallic surface glistened in the sunlight.

"Gahaaa!" the caveman who was holding me snarled again. This time, he shoved me, sending me flailing away from the cave.

After regaining my balance, I watched the cavemen run away. I could have been wrong, but I could have sworn they were afraid. Very afraid.

I turned and saw that metal sphere again. This time it was closer. It seemed to be hovering this way. Maybe it was some sort of technology. Like maybe a scanning device of some sort, like a probe? (This was the future - anything was possible.) If it was, perhaps I could grab its attention. Maybe get some help ... and some answers.
