Blue Branch: InhaledEpisode submitted by The_Guest on Sun Sep 27 18:38:59 2009 Return to Parent Episode Betty went back to the first tree and snapped off one of the blue branches. She needed to take it back to the science lab and examine it. She took a plastic baggy out of her purse and put the twig inside it. This discovery was going to be huge. She removed a piece of bark from one of the trees that was still living and coughed as it released a bluish dust, as if the dead part was disintegrating. She then turned around and walked back into the school, not even realizing that she'd inhaled a mouthful of spores, The fungus that had infected the trees had never had a human host before. Hopefully it wouldn't kill her like it did the trees. | |
