He could see Mrs. Wilson's house. She was an old woman who lived across the street and liked to work in her garden. Next to her house was that of the Winslows. They were out of town, but their college-age daughter was house-sitting. Further down he could see Karyn's house. It was still there...good. He started to leave the room, but then realized he hadn't gotten dressed. he was only wearing a pair of boxers. He couldn't go out like this. He found a suitcase and put it on the bed, opening it...
