She was sitting on one of the many park benches that were scattered throughout Chesapeake Park. "Where's Sally? I thought you were going to bring her along," Karyn said. "Huh? Why would I bring my cousin with me?" "So we could all use the wishing stone, Jon," Karyn said. "It was your idea, remember?" Jon's face went blank. Karyn groaned. "We made plans to show Sally the stone," she explained. Her gaze dropped towards Jon's hand (which held the stone), as realization came to her. "Did you use the stone and forget all that?" "Not exactly." "But you did use the stone, right?" Karyn asked. "Yeah, but ..." "What did you wish for?" she asked. | |
