When it glowed, he had an urge to close his eyes. And when he opened them, he panicked. What did that wish do? Jon's mother, Linda, ran in like she had a few moments earlier, as if time had rewound itself. “Jon, there’s an emergency at work and they need me to come in today, so you need to take Mikey and his friends with you." Jon sighed. At least the wish had produced nothing worse than his having to take his kid brother instead of his kid sister around. It could have been bad.
