He was taking Algebra I this year because he flunked it the previous year. He just wasn't good at math. But today he was. He couldn't understand how it could be, but he understood everything in that algebra book. It was no longer gibberish to him. What neither Kyla nor Mike knew, as of yet, was that when Kyla bumped into Mike, math skills were transferred from the geek to the jock.
