At least none that he could notice. He immediately called home and was relieved when his mother answered the phone. She still seemed just as hysterical as before. Maybe nothing drastic happened. But Jon had heard his own wish. He knew that it must have done something. And specifically something to do with Zoe. "Mom, is Zoe there?" "Who's Zoe? Is she one of your friends?" Jon's heart just sank. Something drastic did just happen. Zoe was no longer part of his family. But where did she go? Whose family did she belong to now?
