She had to get to the bottom of this, and all roads led to Jon and the mysterious girl. As she was about to leave, her phone rang. She answered it. "Hello?" "I've been waiting for you to call. When did you get back?" She'd heard the voice before, but she couldn't put name or face to it. "Umm...just a little while ago." "I'm coming over...you won't believe what happened to me while you were away." Karyn leaned against the wall by her front door. "You won't believe what happened either," she said. "See you in ten." the voice said. Karyn sank down to the floor. Someone was coming over...Maybe someone would give her some answers. It didn't sound like the girl who kept answering Jon's phone, and she was certain she'd heard the voice before. Karyn's New Best Friend | |
