As he reached behind himself to fasten the clasp, the flat stonework set in the centre of it began to glow a dull blue. It brightened for a moment then faded back to normal. At the same time Jon’s eyes took on a distant, glazed look, then slowly consciousness rushed back to fill them with life. Karyn looked to her friend, concerned.
