Really, it kind of looked like his father in drag. "Oh god, it happened to you too?" the person asked. From what Joey could tell, the person was a composite of his mother and his father. "I don't know how it's possible," the person said, walking into Joey's room. "But I'm both Jane and Rick. And I'm not totally sure, but I think my name is Rain." Joey's mother/father (Rain) sat down on his black-sheeted bed. "The name Rain just feels right for some reason." Rain dropped her head into her hands, then began to tear up. "Why is this happening to us?" "I don't know." It was a partial lie. He knew this had something to do with that fucking wish he made, but he didn't know the justifying reason for what was happening. Maybe there wasn't one. Suddenly, his phone began to ring. He looked at for a moment, wondering who it could be. It could be his friend Athena ... no, that's not right. He meant his friend Karyn.
