Zoe may have been older, but she was still a Goth girl and still had Goth friends. But she was no longer best friends with Athena DeVries, who was now at least two years younger than her. No, now she was best friends with Stephanie Wright, who was the same age as Karyn and now ... Zoe. "Are you kidding?" Zoe responded. "Of course I did." She reached into her bag and pulled out the wishing stone. ------ After Jon got out of the bathroom, he headed back to his room. But when he arrived, he realized that the stone was gone! Did someone take it when he was in the bathroom? Thinking that it would be best if Karyn knew about the stone being missing, Jon gave her a call. But it was an odd conversation. Not only did she not know about the wishing stone, she also had no idea who Jon was. He just knew that this had something to do with the stone, but ...
