"Did someone dare you to do this?" she asked. "Do what? Karyn, you're not making any sense. Why was everyone laughing at me?" Karyn stared at him. "You don't really know, do you?" "Know what? Come on, Karyn. Spit it out." "You're in your underwear, Jon." Jon looked down at himself. What was she talking about? He was just as dressed as he usually was. He ran his hand over his jeans and felt the material of them. But from Karyn's point-of-view, Jon was running his hand over his somewhat hairy, and definitely bare, leg. "I don't know what kind of game you're playing, Karyn, but I don't have time for it. I've got to get to class." He started walking away. "Jon, wait. You don't understand ..." But Jon kept walking. Occasionally someone would laugh at him, but he still couldn't understand why. Karyn was sure that this had something to do with the wishing stone, but why would Jon wish for something like this? | |
