"What was that?" Jon asked. "Oh, that's just Rebecca McAdams," his mom said, casually. "Our next door neighbor? What's she doing? Setting off bombs in her garage?" His mom laughed. "No. She's just trying out a few new spells." "Spells?" "Yeah. Magic spells? She's been trying them out all day. I thought about going over there and joining her, but you know she doesn't like it when people outside of her coven ..." "Coven?" Jon asked. "She's a witch?" His mother looked oddly at him. "Who isn't?" Suddenly, Jon realized what was happening. He wished that anyone would believe him when he tells them that Jonnie was created by magic. Normally, people didn't usually believe in magic. But now, because of his wish, they did. Because magic was commonplace! | |
