They headed toward it and found Zoe on the couch, watching TV. Zoe looked up. "What the fuck are you?" She said, looking rather surprised. "Down," Kiki ordered. "What?" "Off the couch," Kiki repeated. Zoe stood up, staring Kiki down. Kiki stared back. Ultimately, Zoe flinched under the hard stare of the felinoid. She started to withdraw. "Jon, look at her collar," Karyn said, noticing something shimmer and appear. Zoe wore a spiked collar around her neck, and now, hanging from it, was a silver-colored tag. Jon got closer and lifted the tag up and reading it outloud. It read Zoe, Human, and had a serial number on it. Zoe rounded on Kiki. "How the fuck did you do that?" She hissed. Pushback | |
