Jon shut his mouth, then put the stone in his pocket before he continued. "I did. But there's something wrong with it." "Really? How so?" "It's granting wishes without me saying the words 'I wish'," he explained. "It didn't start doing it until this morning." "Well, that's weird," Karyn said. "Can I see it?" "Only if you don't say anything. Who knows what could happen?" He took the stone out of his pocket and gave it to her. She looked closely at it. There was definitely something different about the stone, but no one could see it unless they looked really close at it. "This is a different stone ..." she said and suddenly the stone glowed.
