She recognized the phone number as her friend Athena, but the name said JON instead. What was going on? She answered the phone and heard her brother's voice. "Jon? Is that you? Why are you calling from the DeVries house?" "Because I live here?" he answered. "You what?" She didn't wish for that. Or did she? "Zoe, what the fuck is wrong with you?" He paused for a moment, then said "Have you been messing around with that stone again? I told you that thing was dangerous." "How do you know about the stone?" "Zoe, you showed it to me yesterday, at school. Remember?" "I didn't show you the stone. I only showed it to Athena." "Athena?" Jon asked. Athena is Jon's Sister Athena is Zoe's Sister | |
