You two have to get to school," Jon's (or rather Mandy's) mom said, as she passed by the bedroom. Karyn and Mandy turned and looked at each other. "How am I supposed to go to school like this?" Karyn asked. "I look like a slut." "How are you supposed to go to school?" Mandy asked. "What about me?" "What about you?" "I'm a frickin' girl!" "Yeah, but you don't have to wear slutty clothes." "Is that supposed to make me feel better?" Mandy asked. Karyn didn't have time for this. She had to figure out a way to fix her wardrobe problem. There was no way in hell that she was going to go to school like this. She clutched the stone, trying to think of something to wish for. | |
