"Is Karyn here?" he asked. She got a confused look on her face. "Karyn who?" she asked. Now Jon was really getting worried. Not only did his mom forget Karyn, but Karyn's own mother forgot too. "Your daughter ... Karyn," Jon said. "I don't have a daughter. I thought about having children once, but ..." She stopped. "Why am I talking to you anyway? I don't even know who you are." "I'm Jon. Jon Gibson." She had forgotten that too? "Listen, you have the wrong house. There's no one named Karyn here," she said. Then she shut the door on him. He turned around and walked down the porch steps in a daze. What was happening? How come no one remembered Karyn? Nothing is Lost Forever Karyn Never Existed | |
