He really didn't think anything would happen, but then suddenly, a beam of green light shot out from the ring and hit the guard squarely in the chest. Then a bright green glow surrounded the guard, who apparently took no notice of it. And when the glow was gone, Jake laughed. Both because of what he was seeing and because he realized that the ring actually worked. The security guard just stood there, continuing his probing glances, not even realizing (or maybe not caring?) that he was wearing ... | |
