Eric left his room and went downstairs again. Odd, Eric thought. I could have sworn I was in my bedroom when Jason came in. Oh well. He shrugged. Maybe he was recalling some other time when his friend came over.

When Eric got downstairs, he saw the change in his friend immediately and had to stifle a laugh.

"What's so funny?" Jason asked, clearly irritated by Eric's reaction.

"Uh, nothing." Truthfully, Jason actually looked like a flat-chested girl with a tomboy haircut, more than anything else.

"Well, let's get going."

"Going? Going where?"

Jason sighed. "Eric, you know we made plans to ..."
