"What the hell am I doing here?" she muttered to herself. She looked across the coffee shop and spotted Chris. But in this new reality, she didn't know him and she certainly wasn't interested in his type. Too geeky. A jock was more her style. Or better yet, a frat boy. She smiled, thinking about the last party she went to, where she got drunk and ended up fucking about half a dozen guys. She had a nagging feeling that she was there to meet someone, now that she thought about it. But who could she possibly want to meet at a coffee shop where most of the patrons were either nerds or geeks? Seeing that there was no point in sticking around, Kelly turned around and left.
