He'd try acting like everything was normal in hopes that they'd let him go without protest. "I'm sorry mom," he said to his family, "I guess I need to eat a better breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day. I just-" Jon stopped when he heard a crack of thunder... which was odd since he hadn't seen any lightning, and it was sunny outside. "Did you hear that?" he asked. "Hear what?" they said in unison. Several seconds later, there was a brilliant flash- the lightning that should have come before the thunder. It definitely came from outside, but somehow managed to fill the entire room with white light. When it cleared, things had drastically changed, and once again it seemed that Jon was the only one who noticed... Meet Mindy One Mom One Mom (2) | |
