Tommy's girlfriend Debbie had shown him a photo of her brother (James was his name), so he knew who he was right away. "Oh, I'm sorry. I was looking for my sister. She said to meet her here," James said. "You're James, right?" Tommy smiled. "I'm Tommy, Debbie's boyfriend." "Oh," James said. "Well, is she around? I know I'm a little early, but ..." Suddenly, Tommy's eyes went wide. He just remembered that he was supposed to meet Debbie at the library. "Listen, uh ... I gotta go," Tommy said quickly. "But go ahead and make yourself at home. I'll be back." "Uh, okay," he said, carrying a suitcase into the dorm. And as Tommy was grabbing something to take to the library with him, James muttered "I just wish ..." | |
