But before he even laid a finger on any of the blocks, his mom shouted from downstairs. "Jon, could you put the garbage out?" I guess this means she's home, Jon thought, sighing as he stood up and walked to his bedroom door. He opened it and shouted down to her that he was doing it right now. He stuffed the wishing stone in his pocket and headed downstairs and into the garage.
