Jon thought it would be fun to pick an mp3 at random, then go for a walk listening to it. Something about not knowing what was about to change in him excited him. He selected all the mp3s that he downloaded and changed their names to something generic. Then, at random, he selected one and uploaded it to his magic mp3 player.

The mp3 player looked just like an ipod shuffle, except that on the back it had a picture of an eye. He put his earbuds in, hung the mp3 player around his neck, and made his way outside.

It was a beautiful day out, the sun was shining, there was a warm breeze, even a faint hint of lilacs perfumed the air. The music that was masking the hypnotic suggestions was some upbeat pop song he had never heard, but he quite enjoyed it. The uptempo nature of the tune added to the lovely atmosphere. After the third or forth repeat of the song, he found himself humming along. He imagined the singer was some sexy young blond girl who pranced around the stage while her adoring fans lusted after her. He bet that kind of attention would feel good.

Rounding the corner, he began wondering how long it would take until the suggestions started to take hold. Would he notice a change, or would he be completely oblivious to it? He passed an older gentleman walking a terrier. Jon winked at the man suggestively, then continued on his way, adding a slight wiggle to his walk. He loved being a tease, especially to older men. Something about them made him want to show his body off.

The song started again. How many times had it played? Twelve? Thirteen? Jon had lost count. He didn't bother keeping track of that kind of stuff. Math was booooooring! He decided he'd had enough walking, no matter how many repeats the song had had. If it didn't work by now, he figured it wouldn't work. Probably broken, stupid thing.

He turned the machine off and popped the buds from his ears. For the first time he noticed where he had walked to: the mall! Goodie! He turned and walked to the front doors. It was a good thing he'd saved so aggressively for college, because he had some serious shopping to do.
