Jim decided to continue on his way to see his mom. At the moment, it was of the utmost importance that he fix her before she did something she'd regret. Unfortunately, Jim didn't realize that she already had. Right now, she might be enjoying her new "relationship" with Lisa, but if Jim actually succeeded in removing his influence from her mind, she'd be appalled at what she had done. Both on a professional level, as well as a personal and ethical one as well.

"Uh, maybe later," Jim finally answered his friend. "I've gotta do something first."

"Okay, whatever. But you gotta come over and try this game. It's so fucking awesome."

"I will. I promise. Bye," Jim said, before hanging up. Then he continued his way to his mom's office. It was only another two blocks away. He was almost there.
