It made perfect sense, it was Zoe's argument with their father that had triggered this whole idea in Mikey's head after all. Mikey felt very strange as an energy within him seemed to release. He could sense it was now within his father, waiting for him to speak a wish to someone else. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zoe was walking into school as Mikey made his wish. "Stupid dad. Can't even...URGH!" Her monologue broke off into irritated mumbling. "Tough morning?" Zoe's best friend Athena seemed to appear out of thin air. "I hate it when you creep up on me." Zoe stated offhandedly, "But yes. My dad was commenting on how I dress again. It's bad enough that I get it at school, but from my dad? I'm just tired of it!" | |
